Job Description
Albright Cabling is currently looking for experienced Triple Play installers with minimum of 1-year experience as a Triple Play Technician.

Please NOTE: At this time we are only looking for someone with at least 1 Years’ experience for this position.
PAY: This is a piece price job - each location is priced differently and some have per diem included

HOURS: This job entails long hour days | 6-days a week | depending on project is temporary or on-going


Some of the Requirements are listed below:

  • Valid Driver’s License. Must fill out Motor Vehicle Report
  • Clean Background. Must fill out Background check.
  • Provide Resume or fill out application.
  • Required work tools for job, DOCSIS 3.1 Meter (Comcast XM1 or similar)
  • General Liability Insurance
  • 28 foot ladder with hooks
  • Technician tools to complete the job
  • An insured TRUCK, SUV or VAN which is capable of carrying a 28' ladder • A current vehicle registration, proof of insurance, valid drivers' license and social security card. • A drug screening and background check that include criminal and motor vehicle reports (MVR).


Job Description for an Installer Technician:
As a Triple Play Technician, you should have knowledge in handling tools and technology that assist in installing Cable TV, Internet (Broadband) and Phone services (Triple Play). Relevant equipment knowledge includes signal strength meters (X1), toners, cable boxes, internet modems, IP phone systems and more.

Daily skills that are required to efficiently do the job:
Maintain professional contact with customers at all times
Read RF levels that signify if there are issues with customer's services and repair any issue before leaving the residence
Pull the above levels using appropriate software such as Home Health Check
Maintain communication with supervisor and dispatch involving trouble shooting, error completes and time management
Maintain work truck appearance, organize truck to limit loss of equipment and tools and come to work dressed in the appropriate uniform
Close and code out all jobs with proper codes, check out with supervisor

Essential Duties of an Installer Technician:
Continuing knowledge of all systems to be able to complete new connects, reconnects, change of services, upgrades and downgrades
Maintain connections from tap to customer equipment
Verify all services are active that are listed on customers work order
Provide customer education on all installed equipment

Physical Requirements for an Installer Technician:
Lifting up to 80 lbs. at a full range of motion (ladder)
Use of tools for various physical activities like digging a trench for a bury drop
Ability to climb a ladder, not afraid of heights and be in confined spaces like an attic, basements, crawl spaces,etc..
Utilize proper safety equipment at all times (OSHA standards)
Work outdoors in the elements (this is an all year outdoor/indoor job, come prepared)
